Hello T.G.I.F! As I always look forward to the weekend, however I think this weekend, I could run away (MY DAUGHTER’S ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY ABOUT THE BEIBER)! So, as I enjoy the weekend of Beiber Fever, I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend.

We continue to Discover BLACK HISTORY MONTH with BEAUTY, LOVE AND STYLE wrapping up this week we feature the lovely and beautiful DIAHANN CARROLL born July 17,1935 –present in New York, Mrs. Carroll is a force to be reckon with. Her Singing and Acting career blossomed in the 1954 as she was featured in the hit film Carmen Jones. Mrs. Carroll was the first African-American actress to star in her own television series in 1968 called Julia. Her grace and pose can still be seen through-out television with updated films such as (my favorite, FIVE HEARTBEATS) and many more. Due to her zest and charisma Mrs. Carroll as taken the stage and led the way for other black actresses to follow: Halle Berry, Taraji P. Henson, Gabriel Union, Keri Washington and list goes on and on and on.
