YELLO (HELLO) WEDNESDAY and Welcome Back to the blog. I am so excited about certain things that are popping off in my life that I have committed myself to the DUNGEON! LOL. While, in the Lab I am figuring out what is the best testers for the right FOUNDATIONS. It seems to me that everyone and their momma are having a terrible time with this QUESTION? Congrats to you, I have some basic simple instructions that will help you at least begin to find your perfect match… YOU CAN THANK ME LATER.. hehehehehehehhahahahahahahahaha (my doctor evil laugh)!
Warm and Cool Undertones 101:
Warm Undertones = MORE YELLOW OR GREENS found in underneath your skin.
Cool Undertones= MORE REDS OR BLUES found underneath your skin.
For my MAC COSMETICS BUYERS this is way in your foundations and concealers you will purchase will have either NW (W=WARM) or NC (C=COOL) OOHH, AHHHH (still in my doctor evil voice)! Lol.
How can I found out if I am WARM OR COOL?
Foil Test-Take a piece of aluminum foil while looking in the mirror match the foil to your jaw line, if the reflecting color appears gold you will be WARM, if it reflects with a silver or gray tone than you are COOL..
Accessory Test- Take your favorite piece of gold and silver earrings, placing one of each colored earring in each ear if your are more alluring or golden with the gold pair you are WARM if your skin appears with a glow next to the silver than you are (COOL).
Vein Test- Take a look at your veins. If your veins appear to see more greenish than your more than likely WARM if you see your veins are more bluish and reddish in color you more likely COOL…
Learning this basic simple steps will help you better to formulate the best foundations for you and your potential clients. I am back off to the DUNGEON now, I will be back on Friday. I hope to hear you all tonight in the LOUNGE! BYE-BYE....

GREAT TIPS! I like the one with vein test. I just learned I am cool! I can now buy the right shade. QUESTION: how do I know what shade is the right shade? Thanks for the types
ReplyDeleteHey, Thanks for the comment. Now, that you know that you are cool. Look for foundation that has more reddish color. Stay away from shades that appears to look orange in color. Orange is consider warm... Test on the jawline or neck area for a more accurate shade... PLEASE DO NOT TEST THE HAND.... FALSE COLOR TIP FOR FINDING FOUNDATION!
