HEY, how was your weekend? Mines, I say one step closer to a dream of becoming a phenomenal  makeup artist. I was the given the opportunity to take on a project for the Fabulous Lena G, while she did a photo shoot with Queen Latifah for her upcoming Hip-Hop Female Rapper Reality Show. GO GIRL.  ANYWHEW...
I am trying so hard to gear up for the summer that I don't want to leave anything out..  Let's re-cap.. We talk about some exercise work-outs and helpful hints to get our bodies ready, we talk about how to make our skin summer ready, we discovered new looks for the summer including the craze of animal prints and now (drum roll please) our NAILS....... In the past year Nails has taken a turn from pleasure to fashion. The traditional full-set has gotten an upgrade to your natural nails with LOADS OF COLOR. From purple, pink, blue and everything in between a simply manicure has taken us all back to our child-hood dress-up; our nails. Even the fellas is getting in on the nail trend. I would not necessarily say color, but they have join in on a relaxing day at the nail shop.  WITH OUR HANDS SCREAMING AND OUR NAILS SHOUTING, SUMMER 2010 NAIL TRENDS:


MINX NAILS: what is Minx? Minx is bringing fashion to nails. This is a fashionable foil nail color or design that is applied to your nails and toes.. It is the latest trends seen by some of our celebrity beauties. Beyonce, Rihanna, Solange and many more.. TIPS:
A manicure and pedicure usually last for about 2 weeks. For home care push cuticles back every day to avoid build up. Keeping hands moisturize helps eliminate cracking and peeling for your hands and feet.. REMEMBER OUR FRIEND VASELINE....


A typical combo manicure and pedicure will run you about $30.00. For a summer budget do it yourself at home. Purchase your favorite colors and call it me time..


Fellas: KEEP YOU A NAIL FILE, NAIL AND TOE CLIPPER AND CLEAR POLISH..  Keep your nails nice and ridge free!! IT'S OKAY TO SPLURGE ON A TRIP TO A NAIL SALON... ITS SEXY lol.
