As you guys know I am all for the knowledge you gain when in love or like of any products that I use.. So, today I am going to give you a little History on your favorite cosmetic line ever... MAC COSMETICS BRIEF HISTORY CLASS 101. I think we all can agree universally that the MAC COSMETIC line has made us spend way tooooo much in their store and we continue to go back for more.. WOW, personally I know I HAVE SPEND ABOUT $ 400 in one visit. MAKEUP JUNKIE. LOL.. The innovative colors, highly pigmented pigments, blushes, eyeshadows, lip glosses, lipsticks, flawless foundation, the brushes, and so on so on and so on... I am about to call off today, grabbing my purse, with little money I do have, and with my head scarf still in place and facial scrub still on my face, craving the taste of the MAC STORE.. I WANT MORE MAC!! SUCH AN ADDICTED. LOL
MAC COSMETICS BRIEF HISTORY 101:
MAC COSMETICS was Birth in Canada in 1984 by Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo. Mr. Toskan a Makeup Artist and Photographer and Mr. Angelo owner of a hair salon chain, both agreed there was a missing element in durability and versatility when it came to the makeup industry. The dynamic duo along with Vic Casale ( the original chemist at MAC) produce one of the most influential cosmetic lines ever. MAC COSMETICS gained so many accolades and were sought after by some big name beauty cosmetic chains such as ESTEE LAUDER. Estee Lauder continue their interest in the company up to the unexpected death of Frank Angelo in 1997 where Estee Lauder gained full rights to the MAC COSMETICS line. The company continues to strive to keep this out of the box makeup line the fore-runner in the beauty cosmetic industry. Toskan left the company to become a founder of AIDS CHARITY . MAC, still until this day, continues to support charitable causes thought the sales of their collections for example VIVA GLAM 2008 gain the company over $1 million in sales and a large portion of it was donated to worthy causes.. WOW!!!! I hope you have learned a little more information about your favorite product line. Also for MUA's you can apply for a MAC PRO and MAC PRO STUDENTS PROGRAMS. These two programs allows Certified MUA's to become eligible to receive MAC previews, product discounts, master classes and access to special events. Visit your local MAC store today and apply! Just think if these to people would have never stepped out to take a risk, where would cosmetics be?? This just shows us we have to step out on our dreams,be creative, and stay consistent and who knows it may change the face of the world! I love the sugar sweet collection..it so cute.

ReplyDeleteHey girl, I love the blog about the ingrown hair issue. I've been searching for so long on what to do about that issue. So the info really helped. I read it to my husband and hopefully he take the advice. Well I will be on him about it too. Just go buy the stuff and make him do it like one of my kids lol. You are doing a great job girl. Keep it up ok!
