EY' EY' EY', COMIN ON REPRESENT YO TOWN,WHERE YOU FROM " ORANGE COUNTY"(shouting)!!  I am stilll on high from the Hip Hop Honors the Dirty South.. I  am amaze how much the south has influence the Hip Hop music over the years. The Hip Hop Mecca New York even had to recongize our impact. Diddy, just need to give it up ( although, I do like him better a little hood ). We have made major contribution from our sense of fashion, long rope chains, big butts, dreads, gold teeth and box chevy's with rims and much much more. The southern genre and laid back ways has given Hip Hop music as since of SWAGG, that's undeniable and can be recongize and separate completely from the east coast to the west coast. Even the new craze DRAKE had to be apart. It was great to see MYSTIKAL, looking good fresh out, although someone should have told him button downs went out a long time ago. A v-neck would have be better!! I can not forget " HERE I GO, DOING THE SQUIRREL in the club" I heard them say you can tell you are from the south if you have a mouth full of gold teeth and a $800.00 dollar car with $3,000 dollar rims. You can definitely tell you from the south if you have " SLOWED DOWN MUSIC" and DANCE ROUTINE to go to with every song. I LOVE BEING FROM THE SOUTH and I am glad that FlORIDA has made and major contribution to the BASS bringing, Booty shaking and Bold crazy colors that everyone has come to love.. 
Some of the honorees amongst the performers included: 2 LIVE CREW, J PRINCE, JERMAINE DUPRI, MASTER P AND ROMEO, LIL JOHN, FRANCHISE BOYS, YING YANG  TWINS, MISSY ELLIOTT, TIMBERLAND,GUCCI MAN, TRINA, LAUREN LONDON, CHILLI AND KERI HILSON.   If you miss out you know you will be able to watch it all day on saturday.. lol  These awards shows and honors re-run like back to back. check it on VH1 check your local listing for times and channels.
